Tourism Strategic Plan Informational Sessions Rescheduled
*After considering public feedback and the recent rise in Coronavirus cases in our region, the Town has decided to move the Tourism Strategic Plan Information Sessions to February. See the information below for updated dates and times. If you have any questions or need further information, call Tenille Montgomery at 276-206-3683.
The Town of Abingdon, VA has hired Dr. Vince Magnini
from the Institute for Service Research as a tourism consultant to develop a
five (5) year strategic plan. Dr. Magnini will be holding three informational
sessions to develop new strategies to attract visitors and increase tourism
opportunities in Abingdon. If you are interested in helping influence the
direction of your local tourism program, attend one of the sessions to let your
voice be heard. All sessions are open to the public.
