PRESS RELEASE
The Town of Abingdon, Virginia has mailed via U. S. Postal Service, first class
mail, the annual non-departmental Budget Request for
Contributions/Appropriations 2018/2019. Organizations planning to request
appropriations from the Town Council will need to complete said request.
THE REQUESTS ARE DUE ON MARCH 1, 2018 BY 6:00 pm. Any request
submitted via email to town staff and/or received after March 1, 2018 will not
be accepted. Requests can be mailed to Abingdon Town Hall, c/o Chuck
Banner, Treasurer/Director of Finance, P.O. Box 789, Abingdon, Virginia 24212
or delivered to the Abingdon Town Hall, 133 West Main Street, Abingdon,
Virginia 24210.
If you are a non-departmental organization in the Town of Abingdon and did not
receive your application, please contact the Finance Department, 276.628.3167,
immediately to inquire regarding a request.
