The Town of Abingdon is looking at putting a pump track in a 1.7-acre tract, located next to the Virginia Creeper Trail and adjacent to the Sports Complex. A pump track is a circuit of rollers, banked turns, and features designed to be ridden completely by riders "pumping"—generating momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedaling or pushing.
We are asking for
community input for the design of the pump track, and are gauging community
