NOTICE
OF VENUE AND TIME CHANGE FOR TOWN COUNCIL MEETING
The Town of Abingdon will hold its regular Council
Meeting on Monday, December 7th, 2015, at the Southwest Virginia
Higher Education Center, located at One Partnership Circle, Abingdon. The
meeting has been moved from the Abingdon Municipal Building to the Grand
Ballroom in anticipation of a large crowd. Town Council will hear regular agenda
items set for the meeting at 5:30pm; doors will open at 5:00pm. Please note
that there will be no work session prior to the regular meeting. As close to
7:00 p.m. as possible, the Council will hear the matter of the Second Reading
of the re-zoning request regarding CEMA Corporation which was postponed at the
regular November meeting. Please feel free to

with the Town Manager’s Office or the Office of Planning.
