Construction Work Notice For VA Creeper Trail

Construction Work Notice:

The Virginia Department of Transportation will be conducting repair work on the Northbound and Southbound bridges of I-81 over the Virginia Creeper Trail. The repair work is scheduled to begin on Monday night, April 24^th, 2017.

For the next several weeks, the repair work will take place at night from below the bridge, with periodic night-time lane closures on I-81 NB and SB as necessary.  Flaggers will be utilized on the trail to protect pedestrian traffic while bridge work is taking place.

*As a reminder the Virginia Creeper Trail is only accessible from dawn to dusk.
