Committee Openings- UPDATED

Sustain Abingdon Committee is seeking members to fill open positions. The committee meets every other month at noon. Members assist with Earth Day, Community Garden, Annual Stream Clean up and America Recycles Day.  Interested persons should complete the Board and Commission application found at www.abingdon-va.gov under forms and downloads and return the application to Tonya Triplett, Deputy Clerk, ttriplett@abingdon-va.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016.  Council will consider the applications at their regular September 6, 2016 Council meeting. 

Economic Development Authority is seeking members to fill open positions. The committee meets the 2^nd Tuesday every other month at 3:00 pm in the Arthur Campbell Room at Town Hall. Interested persons should complete the Board and Commission application found at www.abingdon-va.gov under forms and downloads and return the application to Tonya Triplett, Deputy Clerk, ttriplett@abingdon-va.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016.  Council will consider the applications at their regular September 6, 2016 Council meeting. 

Board of Zoning Appeals is seeking a member to fill an open position. Sinking Springs Cemetery Committee is seeking a member to fill an open position.
