Portion of the VA Creeper Trail CLOSED

Effective immediately, the top portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail from Damascus to Whitetop is CLOSED for anticipated heavy rain, winds, and downed trees. It will remain closed for the storm duration (Hurricane Florence) & then damage assessments. The lower section from Damascus to Abingdon will remain open unless conditions warrant a change.
