This week, we will be featuring three businesses in one. Located in the old Maxine’s building on Court Street is Wolf Hills Coffee, Tumbling Creek Cider Company, and Appalachian Teas and Botanicals. If you are looking to quench your thirst, these businesses have something for everyone!

Known locally through the Abingdon Farmers Market,

Wolf Hills Coffee

has blossomed into a new business for Sarah Beth Childers. As a local, she wanted to bring a small batch roaster to Southwest Virginia. With all types of coffee drinks and a cooler full of pastries, bring your laptop and come sit for a while (outside or inside).

Tumbling Creek Cider Company

is a small cidery opened in 2018, making cider out of locally grown apples in our community and region. They do their pressing and fermentation onsite and focus on developing ciders for all taste buds. Visit their taproom for a tasting, where you can sample numerous cider varieties or purchase ciders that aren’t available anywhere else.

As a community herbalist, Lori Pennington is turning her love for herbs into a business.

Appalachian Teas and Botanicals

offers custom Appalachian teas and natural herbs that offer all kinds of benefits, and support health and wellness. Order a cup of tea from Wolf Hills Coffee, hang out in the tea room, check out the selection of herbs and plants in the greenhouse behind the building, and educate yourself for a whole experience.
