Opening in March of 2020, right as COVID happened, Spot of Color is a fine art supply store with a classroom/community hangout space. Located at 333 West Main Street (at the corner of Main Street and Russell Road with the Washington County, VA Historical Society), Hana Eichin wanted to create a hub for artists of all levels. With an emphasis on eco-friendly supplies like quality paints, brushes, and mediums, they also offer classes and demonstrations. When classes are not taking place in the classroom, it doubles as a free studio for any community members who need a space to work on projects during regular business hours.
