Tourism Strategic Plan Informational Sessions Rescheduled

*After considering public feedback and the recent rise in Coronavirus cases in our region, the Town has decided to move the Tourism Strategic Plan Information Sessions to February. The Town of Abingdon, VA has hired Dr. Vince Magnini from the Institute for Service Research as a tourism consultant to develop a five (5) year strategic plan. Dr. Magnini will be holding three informational sessions to develop new strategies to attract visitors and increase tourism opportunities in Abingdon. If you are interested in helping influence the direction of your local tourism program, attend one of the sessions to let your voice be heard. All sessions are open to the public.

Monday, February 28, 2022, at 5:30 PM-7:30 PM

*All information sessions will be held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center (One Partnership Circle, Abingdon) in the Executive Auditorium.
